How we pour concrete in Perth
Concreting has a reputation for vague prices and vanishing tradies. Our answer is to show you the whole machine: what happens, when it happens, and exactly what moves the price.

You use the estimator, or you call, and you get a real range, not a runaround. Then we have a five-minute phone chat to make sure nothing about your site changes the picture before anyone books anything.

Site visit and fixed quote
We come out, measure properly, check access, drainage and levels, and talk through finish options with samples where it helps. You get a written fixed quote with an inclusions list. Site visits are free within metro Perth, and the written quote is the number that counts.

Prep
The part you never see is the part that decides how your slab performs in ten years. Excavation and levels, compacted sub-base, straight formwork and SL72 mesh on chairs. We send you photos at every stage, so you see what's under your concrete before it disappears.

04 1 day
Pour and finish
We call the pour 48 hours out based on the forecast, because we don't pour in the rain. Pour day is where the craft shows: screeding, floating, and the finish work that separates a good slab from a great one. Exposed aggregate gets washed and revealed, limestone gets its texture, honed work gets set up for grinding.

05 2-28 days
Cure, cut and seal
Control joints get cut within a day or two of the pour. Foot traffic is fine after 24 to 48 hours, keep vehicles off for 7 days, and the slab reaches full strength at 28 days. Sealing happens where specified, and honed finishes come back for their grind and seal once cured. Then handover, with care notes for the finish you chose.

What moves the price
The same logic the estimator runs, in plain English. If a quote ever surprises you, one of these five is why.
Size
Crew mobilisation, delivery and setup cost the same on 8 m2 as 80. Spread over more metres, the rate per m2 drops, which is why our tiers run from a $2,500 small-job minimum to a volume rate over 150 m2.
Access
If the truck can reach the pour, concrete arrives by chute. A rear yard or tight lot means a concrete pump, and that's a fixed cost we show you in the estimator before you ever ring us.
What's under the surface
A clean sand pad is the Perth default and our ranges assume it. Old concrete or paving has to come out first, and rock or deep fill changes the excavation. We check at the site visit.
Finish choice
Plain grey starts at $75 per m2, honed runs to $210. The finish sets the materials, the crew time and the sealing, and the estimator shows each band side by side.
Decorative extras
Premium seeded stone, oxide colours, feature bands and grind levels sit on top of the base range. We price them line by line in the written quote, never buried in a lump sum.

Workmanship warranty
Our workmanship warranty comes in writing with every quote, and it means what it says: if our work is at fault, we come back and fix it.
Insured
$20 million public liability and $50 million workers compensation, with certificates of currency available on request.
Written fixed quotes
The written quote is the number that counts. It lists inclusions and exclusions, so the final invoice holds no surprises.

What we won't do
Cheaper is easy if you cut what the customer can't see. We don't.
- Pour in the rain and hope. Weather calls are made 48 hours out, every time.
- Skip the mesh or thin the slab to win a quote. SL72 mesh and proper thickness are non-negotiable.
- Turn a sight-unseen guess into a fixed price. Fixed quotes follow a real site visit.
Curing, weather and the fine print
Is the online estimate a quote?
No, it's an estimated range built from real Perth rates for your finish and area. We confirm the final number with a free site visit and a written fixed quote, and the written quote is the number that counts.
How far ahead are you booking?
The current booking window is shown at the top of every page and on the estimator. Weather can shuffle pour dates by a few days, so we confirm your slot 48 hours ahead.
Do you do small jobs?
Yes. Under about 20 m2 a $2,500 minimum applies. That covers the fixed costs every pour carries, crew mobilisation, concrete delivery and setup, whether it's 8 m2 or 80.
When can I walk or drive on it?
Foot traffic is fine after about 24 to 48 hours. Keep vehicles off for 7 days. Concrete reaches full strength at 28 days.
What happens if it rains?
We don't pour in the rain, full stop. We watch the forecast and make the call 48 hours ahead. A moved pour date beats a ruined finish.
Will it crack?
Concrete shrinks as it cures, so we control where it cracks rather than pretend it won't. Control joints cut within a day or two of the pour and SL72 mesh through every slab keep movement where it belongs, in the joints.
Does the site visit cost anything?
No. Site visits and written quotes are free across metro Perth.
